Land mafia are selling Shamilat/Kahchari/State
Land to the gullible people extorting huge amounts
in lieu of such land showing it as proprietary.
Therefore, it is brought to the notice of the general
public that sale/purchase of such land is prohibited
under Law and indulgence in such transactions
tantamount to criminal offence warranting stern
action under rules. As such, it is advised that the
public must refrain from purchase/sale of State/
Shamilat/Kahchari Land in the said Estate of
District Srinagar.

For and on behalf of Governor of Jammu & Kashmir State, through Director Sher-iKashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, Srinagar sealed tenders affixed with Rs. 5/revenue stamps are invited under two-bid system from Manufacturers/ their authorized
registered dealers/distributors for providing Hospital Furniture for SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar.
The interested manufactures and their authorized registered dealers/ distributors are
required to submit the technical and financial bid separately. The bids in Sealed Cover-I
containing "Technical Bid" and Sealed Cover-II containing "Financial Bid" should be
placed in a third sealed cover super-scribed "Tender for Hospital Furniture with NIT
No. & Date" The tenders addressed to Assistant Materials Management Officer Estates,
SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar should reach to his office by or before 17/07/2014 upto 2:00
pm. through speed post/Courier Service or deliver it in person in Central Dispatch and
Receipt Section of SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar against proper receipt on due dates. SKIMS
shall not be responsible for any postal delay and any tender being received late shall
not be accepted. In case the last date for receipt of tenders happens to be a holiday/
non-working day the next day shall be the last date without serving any notice to this
effect. The tenderers have to deposit their samples for quoted hospital furniture
items by or before 17/07/2014 positively.
The tender document can be had from the office of the Assistant Material Management
Officer, Estates, SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar. on all working days (during office hours) by or
before 15 /07 / 2014 upto 4:00 pm against non-refundable tender fee of Rs.1000/= to
be deposited in the Account head CD-34 in J & K Bank limited SKIMS Branch, Soura, Sgr.
and latest tax clearance certificate of concerned Tax Department.
The tenderer must enclose Earnest Money Deposit in shape of CDR for Rs.
50,000/-pledged to Director Finance, SKIMS, Soura, which shall be drawn on any
Nationalized/ scheduled bank with Technical Bid in Cover-I, without which tenders shall
be liable to be rejected. The tenders are not transferable.
The tender document can also be downloaded from SKIMS website www.sk.ims.ac.in,
and those who download the tender document must enclose the tender fee in the shape
of demand draft for Rs.1000/- (non-refundable) favouring Director Finance, SKIMS,
Soura, Srinagar with their technical bid in Cover-I.
The Technical Bids will be opened on 17/07/2014 at 2.30 pm or any other subsequent
day convenient to tender opening committee & in presence of the tenderers or their
authorized representatives / agents who may wish to be present at the time of opening of
the tenders. The date for opening of price bids of the eligible tenderers (those tenderers
who qualify in technical bids and successfully demonstrate their quoted models if asked
for by the SKIMS competent authorities) shall be notified separately.
The Director SKIMS, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without
assigning any reason thereof.
Any future clarification and /or corrigendum (s) shall be communicated through Assistant
Materials Management Officer Estates on the SKIMS website www.skims.ac.in.

TERMS &CONDITIONS:1.		The applicants are advised to enclose with their applications the attested copies of under
mentioned documents/certificates:		 i) MBBS & MD/MS/Ph.D etc Qualification certificates.
		 j) Final years MBBS Marks certificate.
		 k) Attempt Certificate of all examination of MBBS issued by the University.
		 l)	Registrar-ship/Demonstrator-ship completion certificate in the respective specialty
till the date of issuance of this Notice.
		 m) Professional Publication in standard medical Journals.

2.		The applications should reach to the office of the undersigned by or before 12.07.2014
upto 3:30 PM.
3.		The applicants shall have to appear before the constituted Selection Committee at
Government Medical College, Srinagar alongwith all the original testimonials and other
related documents on the date of interview which will be notified separately.
4.		The applicant for the post should not be of more than (63) years of age as on the date
of issuance of notice.
5.		The selected candidates shall have to execute an agreement that he/she will not leave
the Department before the completion of one year’s contract, however abandoning/
terminating of the arrangement as the case may be will require two months prior notice
on either side failing which the salary shall not be paid for two months to the incumbent
which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and shall be released on
completion of sanctioned term.
6.		The selected candidate has to submit an affidavit to the effect that he/she is not on the
rolls of any Medical Colleges/Institutions of the country which is pre requisite in terms
of MCI norms.
7.		No application of the in-service candidate shall be entertained owing to the existing of
SRO 409 of 2013 Dated. 19-08-2013.
8.		 An attested passport size photograph should be affixed on the application.

1.		The valuation of the said unsafe school building as worked
by Executive Engineer R&B Division Chadoora vide their
No: EE/CHD/713-14 Dated: 09/05/2014 is made available
with Headmaster concerned.
2.		Interested bidders have to deposit a sum of Rs 5000/= by

Women studies Cell & N.S.S Wing (Girls) of the Islamia College in collaboration with SKIMS
Soura, Department of clinical Biochemistry University of Kashmir & GMC Srinagar organized
health awareness and screening camp on 25th of June, 2014. Principal of the host College Prof.
(Dr.) Muhammad Aslam Baba formally welcomed (he guests and highlighted the significance
of such programmes and its relevance to the present times. Dr. Mohd Ashraf Ganaie, Senior
Consultant Endocrinology and Metabolism AIIMS presented the inaugural address. Prof, Irfan
Rabbani, Senior consultant Radiology SKIMS also spoke on the occasion focusing on screening
with special reference to non communicable diseases.
Dr. Shajrul Amin Head Department of Clinical Biochemistry deliberated on interdepartmental
collaboration for identification of life style disorders. Dr. Fouzia Rashid from Department of
clinical biochemistry along with her team and experts from SKIMS -Soura actively coordinated
the screening camp along with the NSS volunteers and the members of Women Studies Cell.
Prof. Uheeda Shah N.S.S programme Officer and Prof. Zahida Mehraj Co-ordinator WSC
ensured active participation of all the female faculty members, in the technical session, Dr.
Ashraf Ganaie had a threadbare discussion on life style disorders with special reference to
PCOS.
The Programme ended with a vote of thanks from the College Staff Secretary Dr. Khurshid
