(GKNN) BCA students’ plea to KU Srinagar, Jul 2: Students of BCA IInd year have urged the Kashmir University authorities to declare their revaluation result before the dates for biannual examination are announced. The students said that declaration of revaluation results before the biannual examination would save their time and resources. GKNN parliamentary elections. He is trying to prove himself as more loyal than the King. This struggle has strong backing of 18 UN resolutions and the unfulfilled promises and agreements of Indian leadership which they have made with the people of Kashmir on national as well as international levels. The reality of Kashmir can’t be diluted merely because Naqvi couldn’t convert his ministerial dream into reality,” he said. Senior leader of Hurriyat Conference (M), Professor Abdul Gani Bhat, while condemning Naqvi’s remarks said, “the dream we see will be realized in near future and the people who issue negative statements about our freedom struggle will one day realize that they were utterly wrong.” “History is testimony to this fact that no power on earth was able to suppress the sentiments and curtail the freedom of occupied people for a long time. India was enslaved by British for such a long time and the country dreamt of freedom and attained it finally. Hurriyat leaders are following a definite mindset and there is no need to change it,” Bhat said. Dukhtaran-e-Milat (DeM) Chairperson Syeda Aasiya Andrabi termed Naqvi’s remakrs as rubbish “We were, are and will never be Indians. We have our separate and unique identity while India has forcibly occupied our land. Freedom lovers don’t need to dream,” she said. “BJP has a manifesto to strength Indian rule over Kashmir. Naqvi has repeated what earlier Congress propagated and we should not take these statements seriously,” she said. Senior leader of Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCJK), Shabir Ahmad Shah, said, “If the statement of Naqvi is factually correct, then why is Kashmir granted a special status under Article 370 to keep on with their national identity within the union of India,” Shah asked. “We want complete freedom from the Union of India. Kashmir was neither part of India nor will it ever be. India is ruling Kashmir with its military might. History is testimony to this fact that forcible rule has to get perished one day or other and Kashmiris will continue their freedom till they attain their birth right of selfdetermination,” Shah added. Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association also castigated Naqvi for his statement. “Bar Association wants to convey to Naqvi that the people of J&K seek the implementation of Security Council resolutions which guarantee them the right of self-determination of opting for India or Pakistan by holding a plebiscite in the State of J&K,” HCBA general secretary, Muhammad Ashraf Bhatt, said in a statement. “Though the Indian leaders both at the international and domestic level have promised and are obliged to hold such plebiscite in the State, but despite the lapse of 65 years they have not fulfilled their said promise and commitment,” he said.
