advantage of centrally sponsored National Horticultural Mission for North Eastern and Himalayan states,
Jammu district in the state
has developed as many as
186 mango orchards over and
above the area already under
mango plantation this year.
Talking to Greater Kashmir, SK University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Jammu (SKUAST)
expert, Dr Rajinder Pishan,
said that they have developed a total 186 orchard s
across Jammu district to
enhance income of the farmers especially in the case and
crop failure.
