Srinagar, July 22: Director, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution
Department (CAPD), Kashmir, Bilal
Ahmad Bhat today reviewed the
stock position of essential commodities including rice, aa, sugar, k-oil
and LPG cylinders at a meeting here.
Among others, Joint Director
CAPD Kashmir, Deputy Director Supplies, Deputy Director CAPD South
Kashmir besides representatives of
various Oil Companies aended the
meeting. It was given out in the meeting that adequate stocks of essentials besides k-oil and LPG cylinders
are available in the Valley.
The meeting was informed that
32,527 metric tons of rice, 3573
metric tons of sugar have been
already despatched to the different
sale outlets of the Valley including
the remote destinations of Gurez,
Tulail, Karnah, Uri and Machil.
Besides, 45541 metric tons of rice,
2270 metric tons of sugar and 19122
metric tons of aa are available with
the departmental godowns in the
Valley, an official statement said.

Srinagar, July 22: In a open
attack against Kashmir Economic Alliance led by Muhammad
Yaseen Khan and its office bearers, the breakaway KEA led by
Farooq Ahmad Dar today accused
the former of having been in ‘tactical understanding’ with Bharat
Janata Party (BJP) candidates to
pave way for them to win elections
in Kashmir.

supporters Siraj Ahmad and Iqbal
Trumboo in the past held many
deliberations with centre government agencies and for that

they travelled to New Delhi many
times.”
“They are working to fulfill the
aim of BJP to win 6 seats from
Kashmir," Dar said, adding that
the disgruntled elements want to
cash on the “popularity” of the
alliance in Kashmir to serve their
“personal ends”.
Dar alleged: “In past Yasin
Khan, Siraj Ahmad and Iqbal
Tramboo were pitching for turning the alliance into a political party but we resisted such
moves.”

various traders bodies have developed cracks after the group led by
Muhammad Yaseen Khan organized a rally of Sarpanchs and
Panchs here.

01. Invitation of Application and Basic Eligibility:
Applications for the posts shown in Annexure - I of this notification are invited for the Divisional / District
Cadre posts in the format given in Annexure II from the candidates who:
(A) Are permanent residents of J&K State.
(B) Are as on 01.01.2014 not below the age of 18 years & above the age of:
a) 40 years in case of Open Merit Candidates.
b) 42 years in case of Handicapped Candidates.
c) 43 years in case of Reserved Category.
02) Qualification: Minimum Matric and Maximum 10+2. Any candidate possessing qualification above
10+2,his/her candidature shall get cancelled automatically.
03) Call letters shall not be issued individually. However, Director Accounts & Treasuries Kashmir shall give
wide publicity through print media to the list of eligible candidates shortlisted for interview and the dates
and venue of interview.
04) No TA/DA will be paid for participation in the interview.
05) The application form must be accompanied with one set of ‘ attested copies of certificates,

Srinagar, July 22: Kashmir Education Initiative
(KEI) today announced the
results of its ‘post-graduate
scholarship initiative’.
The institute uploaded
the names of the selected
candidates on its website
www.kashmirei.org.
More than 100 students
pursuing post-graduate
courses in different universities in Kashmir had
applied for the scholarships.
10 candidates have made
it to the select list after three
rigorous rounds of selection
process.
The students will get
annual scholarship of Rs
20,000 besides receiving regular mentorship and counseling from subject experts,
a KEI handout said.
