acquainted and show you what’s what in 3 quick slides!
The Asset Library is a
new application in
Summit that makes it
easy for you to find and
contribute valuable
slides, code, solutions,
and other assets created
by you and your
colleagues.
Each asset search result
contains some basic info
and functionality which
make all the assets, easier
to find, and easy to share
on Chatter with other
Sherpas

BU Icons indicate which BU the asset belongs too

●

“Like” an Asset or “Share on Chatter” if you find it valuable or impressive

●

If you used the Asset click “Used on Project” and add the project to the asset record

●

The “New”, “Code”, and “Attachment” icons are non-functional and indicate basic info
about the asset, i.e. whether it’s new, has code, or has attached documentation

Cloud Sherpas Asset Library in Summit
●

The SFBU IP Contest will run through the Asset Library. Simply check off “Submit to
IP Contest” when creating an asset if you want to enter the contest and win $500; or if
you want to search through contest assets, check the filter box on the left.

●

Analytics are enabled on the Library so we can track the most active users and
contributors; eventually the Asset Library will be one component in establishing a
larger gamification culture at Cloud Sherpas

●

Being an active contributor is not that hard, really! It takes about 5-10 minutes to
submit an asset. You need the following info: Author of Asset, short description, long
description, tags/technologies, date published, associated BU, and projects the asset
was used on. That is it!

To make it easier for you to find & contribute valuable IP assets from projects and
sales

Who Should Use the Asset Library?

Both Delivery & Salespeople, although right now there are more Delivery Assets

But Isn’t This Just Another Thing/Place We Have to Keep Track Of?
●

Nope! To make it easier to use and let you access more resources in one place, the
Asset Library lives in Summit and you can find all the assets from within Summit
